The second day of trekking was wet and muddy as the trail in some parts had become like a small stream. Upon reaching higher elevations, there were large piles of hail along the path as well. I was hiking alone, but had to join the two young British couples behind me due to my guide´s emergency recall to park headquarters. When we reached the second day´s camp at Mude Cave, I was the only one feeling spritely enough to go on a side trip to this lovely little waterfall close by. A bonus of all the rain was that the river was running pretty full. It would have been a great place for a dip on a warmer and drier day. That´s the new guide, Patrick, in the picture.
