The visitors center in the middle of the park has an excellent walking trail that gives explanations about the animals that can be found in the Serengeti and about the natural cycles that govern it i.e. the wildebeest migration, wet and dry seasons etc. Rock hyraxes are everywhere and they especially love lounging on top of the wall. We made special stops here for the clean toilets which were a welcome break from the disgusting pit toilets in camp. Someone had Montezuma´s revenge and a real bad aim. Phooey!
