A typical Ugandan domicile tucked into the hillside. Often you´ll see the kids playing in the yard in front of the hut. Maybe some chickens or a pig or two running around as well. I took a couple of days to rest up after the Elgon hike, soaking up the African sun, reading a good book on the terrace, and enjoying the slow rythyms of rural life. I had spent a month in Uganda, which was a real thrill, but, unfortuantely it was time to move on. Kenya awaits!
