Too bad I hadn´t brought any eggs because if I had I could have hard-boiled them in the hot springs. I tested the water in one stream as it ran into the lake thinking it had had time to cool down, but it was still plenty hot enough for me to pull my hand back quickly after touching it. A few of the springs are deep enough to see the beautiful turquoise hue of the water as it bubbles to the surface.
